*SUMMARY:*
The Accounting Analyst position supports the Finance & Accounting department with day-to-day functions in support of the overall business.
The primary focus is to ensure timely and accurate accounting transactions including but not limited to Billing, AP/AR, journal entries and payroll.
The role will also assist with ongoing financial reporting and audit support throughout the year.

GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control · Support duties related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and payroll functions · Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines · Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information · Analyze financial information in order to identify and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner · Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes · Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests · Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner *ACCOUNTABILITY:* Accountable for the timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial results.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: · At minimum, an Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
· 1-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in English language is required, and ability to speak/write in Spanish and other languages is desirable.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write detailed and instructive correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform simple through complex mathematical analysis as related to the field of interest.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word) and Electronic Mail Software (Outlook), presentation software (PowerPoint), scheduling software (Project), design software (Vizio, others), and project management and financial software.
