Synergy’s flagship product, the Synergy Disc®, is the only artificial cervical disc on the market that can restore both motion and alignment to the spine.
The Synergy Disc® has been life changing for patients around the world! The Synergy Disc is commercially available in Europe and Australia, as well as other select international territories.
In the USA, Synergy is currently conducting FDA IDE clinical trials to support future PMA approvals in the USA.
Synergy has recently completed a major institutional financing to help the business grow and scale.
Duties
Assist VP, Accounting and Finance with ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
* Month end/quarter end journal entries
* Account analysis
Maintain medical device and surgical instrument inventory
* Track receipts and shipments in NetSuite, perform periodic physical inventory
Complete monthly bank reconciliations in NetSuite
Assist with production planning for Synergy Disc implants
* Analyze usage per NetSuite sales and IDE trial reports
Generate monthly sales report for key customer commissions
Support Office Manager with accounts payable/receivable
Support annual audit with external auditors
1099 filings
* Review vendor records for accuracy
* Generate reports for annual amounts and update for filing
Maintain cash flow tracker for weekly review with management
Assist with shipping product as needed, following quality management system procedures
* Enter sales/transfer orders, generate packing slips
Assist with other tasks as assigned

2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger accounting tasks and coding
Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Proficient working on a PC with MS Windows 10/11 Operating System
ERP systems experience, NetSuite a plus
Medical device company experience a plus
Ability to work independently and collaborate with co-workers
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to reprioritize daily tasks as needed
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email
Physical Requirements - work is normally performed in a typical office environment, ability to sit/stand at desk for 8-10 hours per day
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent in education and experience.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with co-workers, customers and vendors.
Our small but growing organization is looking for a hands-on person who wants to be involved in many different aspects of the business.
This is an in-office role in Louisville, CO, with some flexibility to work remotely on occasion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
