Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant to join our team.
As a CPA, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, preparing financial statements, and providing valuable insights to help drive business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and preparation.
We are located in beautiful Frisco, Colorado - a short drive to skiing, boating, biking, and all other mountain enjoyments.
Our office is on Main Street, which becomes a pedestrian road in the summer and features music, art, bookstores and coffeeshops.
Our small firm has a family atmosphere with CPAs that are the top in the county - we have won Best in Summit County numerous times.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Perform payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial controls
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Utilize accounting software such as Ultra Tax/Thompson Reuters to manage financial data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent license required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proficiency in financial report interpretation and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
00 - $100,000.
