This role offers a unique opportunity to work on both Laserfiche software support and IT helpdesk responsibilities, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment that is never dull.
*Job Description:* As a Software Support Specialist & IT Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of both Laserfiche software applications and IT infrastructure.
You will be the point of contact for end-users, addressing software-related issues and providing general IT support to maintain a reliable and efficient technology environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Provide exceptional software support to clients, diagnosing and resolving issues related to our software applications.
Collaborate with clients to understand their document management requirements and develop Laserfiche solutions accordingly.
Design, configure, and implement Laserfiche projects to meet client specifications.
Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related problems as part of the IT helpdesk support.
Collaborate with internal teams to communicate client feedback, assist in bug identification, and contribute to software improvement processes.
Install, configure, and maintain software applications and IT infrastructure components.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Document and maintain IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
Assist with the onboarding of new employees, including setting up workstations and providing necessary IT training.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in software support and IT helpdesk roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, hardware components, and networking concepts.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues effectively.
Customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality support.
Ability to recommend and promote additional products or services to meet the unique needs of customers.
Laserfiche experience or certifications such as CCNA are a plus.
Salary: $55,000 to $70,000 per year to start
