_*Evolve Engineering and Software is looking to hire a CAD & CAM Programmer*_.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in part modeling with SolidWorks (3+ years), CAM programming (SolidCAM best, MasterCAM ok), and design from part experience.
If you have experience in the optics industry that is more of a plus.
It will be mostly CAM work, with some CAD.
This position is full-time, Monday – Friday.
Our hours are flexible as long as you’re here during core hours, 10am – 3pm.
You will:
- Showcase excellence in SolidWorks for designing and CAM programming
- Program parts from prints or models using SolidCAM
- Issue parts to machine operators using run sheets
- Design parts
- Practice excellent written and verbal communication to ensure parts run smoothly
- Observe machines running to ensure programmed rates are as expected
- Strive to produce extremely precise parts for our customers with minimal waste
Our pay structure is dependent on your experience level.
More experienced = higher starting pay rate.
_*Our pay range for this position is $18 - $35/hr*_.
We are a growing engineering, software, and machining company, so experience in mechanical engineering, software engineering, etc is a plus and will be compensated thusly.
When the shop is running well with minimal part waste, we offer quarterly bonuses as well.
