Software Engineer/Architect

ICR has opportunities available for experienced and motivated software engineers and software architects to join the ICR Louisville team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Research, design, development, test, and operationalize software architectures and applications for a variety of systems.
Understand customer/operational requirements and implement new functionality into software products to meet them.
Develop unit test software to exercise critical aspects of the system.
Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in DoD/IC.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools.
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills.
Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems.
Knowledge of Linux and associated development tools.
Exceptional software architecture skills and the ability to realize/implement and operationalize that architecture.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications M.
S.
and/or Ph.
D.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Ten (10) years of experience in DoD/IC.
Understanding of static and dynamic software analysis tools and techniques.
Experience with big data analytics systems, such as Hadoop and Spark.
Experience with Orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Rancher.
Experience with micro-service architectures such as Docker.
