Job Title: Commercial Loan Officer - Longmont Department/location: Commercial/Longmont
Reports to: Market President/VP Commercial Loans FLSA Classification: Exempt
Effective Date: July 28, 2023 Salary Range: $70,000 - $150,000 (annual)
Job Summary: The Loan Officer will actively pursue new business relationships and participate in the business development activities of the bank with a focus on deposit and loan growth.
They will be responsible for analyzing, structuring and monitoring commercial loans in their portfolio.
Production expectations will be set upon hire.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Maintains a robust referral network in the local banking community with builders, real estate agents, and other related businesses in order to grow a profitable loan and deposit portfolio.
Maintains pipeline and proactive call logs to be submitted to the board of directors.
Examines loan applications for creditworthiness, participates in underwriting and documentation of the credit; determines or makes recommendations regarding approval or denial/modification of requested loan.
Approves or, when outside pre-approved lending limits, presents to loan committee for management analysis and decision.
Participates in the management of the loan portfolio, including but not limited to, monitoring credit quality, perform site visits/collateral inspections, extension requests, and ensures annual reviews are completed in a timely manner.
Assist as needed with day to day bank activities within the branch.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Bank financial institution accounting experience preferred.
Experience with computerized spreadsheet programs required.
Experience with an automated accounting software program is preferred.
