*Position Summary*
The Senior Accounting Manager is a key member of the management team and will assume responsibility for the financial management of the company.
He or she will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities for our company.
This includes direct responsibility for accounting, cash management, broker commissions, monthly payroll, year-end closing/tax preparation, 1099 processing and oversite of our HR admin third-party company.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage all financial aspects of the company, including general ledger, payroll, cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, income tax compliance functions, sales & use tax compliance, and monthly financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with all financial, real estate and rental regulations regarding proper accounting processes.
* Work with accounting team to prepare daily, weekly and monthly payments to brokers, vendors, landlords and tenants.
* Prepare or coordinate the preparation of supporting income tax schedules.
* Responsible for monthly reconciliations of A/P, bank and credit cards, all general ledger accounts, including A/R, taxes, etc.
* Oversee many staff related matters such as payroll and oversight of InTandem (our PEO)
* Ensure the financial statements and forecasting models are completed in a timely and accurately.
Deliver regular financial reporting and forecasting to the President and partners.
* Manage annual audit and quarterly attestations by CPA firm, including preparation of financials in accordance with all rules and regulations.
* Ensure that effective internal controls are in place to comply with the Real Estate Commission and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
* Oversee transmissions of ACH/Wires and Positive pay for both RE and Rentals
* Ensure franchise fees and audits are reported correctly and completed.
* Day-to-day management of payroll and accounting department.
*Qualifications and Requirements*
* BS in Accounting/Finance or related degree.
MBA and/or CPA a plus, but not a requirement.
* Quickbooks Online experience required.
* 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
* PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment), emphasis in Excel, Word and Outlook
* Real Estate or Rentals experience a huge plus.
* Possess strong communication skills.
* Able to effectively interact with others in a positive and professional environment.

*Supervisory Responsibility*
Oversees a team of 4 accountants for Real Estate and Rentals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.
00 - $125,000.
